EXAMINATIONS
a) Students are permitted to carry only the Admit Card and
writing / drawing requisites into the exam hall.
b) Communication of any sort or in any form is strictly
forbidden between students and any other persons inside the examination hall.
In particular cheating will be dealt with sternly.
c) If a Student is found using unfair means in an examination
that particular paper will be cancelled and he will be suspended from appearing
for the rest of the papers and will be allotted ZERO in all the papers of the
current examination. If a pupil is found persisting in such unfair practices, a
Transfer Certificate will be issued without any further notification to those
concerned. Parents will be notified.
d) A Student who misses an assessments/test may not appear
for re-examination / re-test at a later date.
e) Parents are requested not to send their children for an
examination when they are seriously ill or just recovering from an illness. In
such cases, the Principal should be informed in writing on the same day or in
advance and with evidence within two days.
f) Answer papers of Half Yearly and Final Term Examinations
will be shown to the students after correction and taken back immediately.
PROMOTION CRITERIA
a) The general performance of the student will be taken into
account for promotion. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole years'
work including co-curricular performance. In the case where a repetition of a
class is in the interest of the child, parents will be informed and their
support requested. The decision of the school authorities with regard to
promotion is final.
CLASS : I – VIII
1. Pass
marks in each subject is 40%
2. Attendance
should be 80%
CLASS : IX – XII
1. Pass
marks in each GROUP is 40%
2. Passing
in English subject is compulsory
3. Attendance
should not be less than 80%
Note:
1. The medium of this School is English. Hence obtaining Pass
Mark in English as 1st Language is a must.
2. Major subject papers are: English, 2nd Lang, History &
Civics, Geography, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Commercial
Applications and Economics. All other subjects/papers are minor.
3. For general
proficiency, all subjects / papers, major and minor are included.
4. It is important to do well in all Examinations. For
unforeseen circumstances like serious illness, etc. during Annual Examinations,
the terminal examination results may be considered on production of genuine
evidence and on the sole discretion of the Principal.
b) It is regretted that a student who fails for two years
consecutively in the same class may not be accommodated in the school.
