October 25,2025, Saturday, teachers from various schools across Kolkata participated in the Teachers Talent Contest,organized by the Youth of The All-India Anglo Indian Association, Calcutta Branch at Frank Anthony Public School(FAPS).
Such an historic event was organised to unite the teachers together in one spirit, to showcase the talents of the teachers and also to get the students motivated by the respective schools to see their teachers participating in the different events.
The Principal of St.Marys school, Rev. Fr. Devraj Fernandes, graciously accepted the invitation and allowed history teachers to participate in this mega event and under his guidance, he trained the teachers to put up their talents in the events of Basketball, Football and Fashion show.
The teachers of St.Mary’ School took the initiative to participate in the Basketball, Football and Fashion show. The competition was tough, but with the true spirit of sportsmanship of Fr. Devraj, Sir Allen Anthony, Johnson M. Anthony, Satyamay Sardar and Ma’am Bandana Singhroy lifted up the Winners Trophy,with Medals and Certificates, defeating the schools of Julian Day, Nirmal Niketan, Don Bosco and Frank Anthony Public School. Moreover in the Football and Fashion show, the teachers received participation certificates.
The credibility to win the Basketball tournament went to Rev. Fr. Devraj for his marvelous and miraculous performances and for the first time in the history of St.Mary’ school, the teachers got the recognition Awards.
