REPORT FOR CATHOLIC TEACHERS’ GUILD PROGRAMME 2025
The Catholic Teachers’ Guild organised a special Teachers’ Programme on Saturday, 13th of September, 2025 at St. Teresa’s Secondary School at Khiddirpore, with the objective of fostering fellowship, professional growth, and spiritual enrichment among educators. The event commenced with a Eucharistic service, invoking God’s blessings on all teachers and their noble mission of shaping young minds.
The inaugural address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Anil Gomes and Rev. Fr. Moloy D’Costa, who warmly welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of teachers as instruments of God’s love and knowledge in society. Eminent speakers were invited to share their insights on the theme “Jubilee Year of Hope”.
The sessions were both inspiring and enriching, focusing on values-based education, the challenges of modern teaching, and the role of teachers in nurturing holistic development in students.
The programme also featured cultural performances and interactive sessions which added joy and camaraderie to the day. Teachers from different schools participated wholeheartedly, sharing their experiences and exchanging ideas.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the organisers, speakers, and participants. The Teachers’ Programme proved to be a meaningful and memorable occasion, reminding all educators of their sacred calling and renewing their commitment to service in the field of education.
